Accounting Manager

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform monthly accounting close
  • Maintain GL
  • Manage consulting/contractor accounting
  • Assist with fixed assets/CIP accounting
  • Perform accrual accounting
  • Assist with prepaid asset management/amortizations
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist with financial consolidation for actuals, plan & forecast
  • Maintain monthly regional tracking files

 

Requirements:

  • CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
