Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team in San Bernardino County.
Job Description:
- Manage check runs and credit card payments
- Full-cycle AR
- Enter and reconcile invoices
- Generate invoices and make collection calls
- Track and report daily cash management
- Run and interpret weekly and monthly reports
- Assist with filing and generating 1099’s
- Calculate and report payroll
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Assist with financial audit requests
Requirements:
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
