Interim Credit & Collection Manager (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Credit & Collection Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Review sales orders and contract payment terms
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances
  • Run credit reports
  • Evaluate and establish credit terms
  • Deal with collection agencies
  • Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
  • Resolve billing and customer credit issues
  • Report on collection activity
  • Forecast expected weekly collections
  • Help process AR payments

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
