Senior Collections Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Senior Collections Specialist to join their team in Santa Barbara County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage collection cycle
  • Assist with collections and bad debt write-off
  • Help manage client and vendor files
  • Meet quarterly aging goals
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
