Interim Inventory Analyst (Project)

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Inventory Analyst to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Maintain costing database
  • Collect and assign costs associated with purchase order receipts
  • Analyze cost variances
  • Prepare month-end closing accruals
  • Prepare month-end inventory reports and journal entries
  • Assist in systems implementation testing
  • Assist in special projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Intermediate SQL and/or MS Access skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
