Interim Accounting Specialist (Project)

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Interim Accounting Specialist to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare AR Invoices and follow up with accounts
  • Help post cash receipts and make bank deposits
  • produce sales orders and commercial invoices
  • Help process new customers’ trade references to establish credit terms
  • Perform weekly accounts receivable aging review and collection forecast
  • File and maintain customers information
  • Help process AP invoices and print checks on a weekly basis
  • Respond to vendor’s inquiries and reconcile statements
  • File and maintain vendors’ information
  • Assist answering incoming calls

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Peachtree skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
