Interim Bookkeeper (Project)

Our client in the non profit industry is looking for an Interim Bookkeeper to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Post and maintain reports
  • Help deposit summary and wireless terminals
  • Assist with audit functions and budget process
  • Responsible for settlements, reviewing payment requests, processing preauthorization’s and check requests, reconciling wireless transactions and entering transactions
  • Manage credit card transactions, records, check run process and bookkeeping
  • Responsible for timesheets, payroll, AP, grant management and banking

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and QuickBooks experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
