Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for check runs, transactions and monthly reports
  • Manage invoices, check requests and AP transactions
  • Resolve discrepancies, issues and inquiries
  • Track and process expenses/reports
  • Provide supporting documentation
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Oversee account payments
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Prepare 1099 filings

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Concur system experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
