Interim Accounting Manager (Project)

Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for an Interim Accounting Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Help manage budget
  • Perform Invoicing of funding sources
  • Manage payroll and employee benefits
  • Assist with disbursement of checks
  • Organize fiscal documents
  • Manage reimbursement request
  • Develop and maintain all fundraising and accounting systems
  • Prepare annual work papers
  • Prepare annual Medi-Cal PPS reconciliation
  • Assist with audits
  • Special projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience=
