Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the retail/consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in San Bernardino County

 

Job Description:

  • Receive, sort, distribute and scan hard copy and electronic invoices
  • Responsible for sorting and collecting outgoing checks
  • Assist with verifying receipt and payment of invoices
  • Help find missing P.O. information, deductions and discrepancies
  • Help test the electronic funds transfer
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
  • Maintain postage machine, supplies and interface with service provider

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
