Interim Accounts Payable Manager (Project)

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Denver

 

Job Description:

  • Monitor two AP email accounts and USPS mail
  • Responsible for distributing invoices and GL account coding
  • Responsible for vouching inventory, freight and agent commission invoices
  • Report and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage vendor payment activities
  • Process expense reports and requests for advances
  • Prepare and process checks
  • Oversee ACH and wire payments and record transactions
  • Distribute monthly credit card statements, maintain record of charges, review documentation returned, code expenses and record purchases in system
  • Prepare and mail annual 1099 statements
  • Reconcile vendor account balances

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of Managerial experience
  • 3 way match and 1099 experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
