Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County.


Job Description:

  • Assist with adjusting/approving timesheets
  • Enforce labor laws, union rules, payroll deadlines
  • Update and maintain employee data
  • Help draft employee communications
  • Propose timely solutions system issues/bugs
  • Perform ad hoc analysis & reconciliations



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
