Accounting Manager

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with corporate consolidation
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end financial closing processes
  • Oversee account reconciliations and analysis
  • Help ensure complete and accurate accounting and disclosures
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Develop and maintain SOX documentation and controls
  • Participating in special projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • CPA a plus
  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
