Payroll Analyst

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team in the Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Serve as systems administrator
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes
  • Assist with system upgrades/fixes and setup/maintenance reports or queries
  • Perform data development and analysis and assist with decision making
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Help synthesize data into reports and presentations
  • Maintain employee & and pay data sets, reports and metrics
  • Research and resolve complex systems application issues
  • Develop and manage reports
  • Develop and examine trends in information systems
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation
  • Manage and train users on new processes

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the financial services or related industries preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, Ultimate Software and UltiPro experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
