Interim Purchasing Agent (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Purchasing Agent to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Maintain vendor and product profiles
  • Manage vendor charges
  • Help establish price and terms, lead times and landed times
  • Maintain and evaluate inventory
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes
  • Manage components and supplies
  • Maintain purchase order system
  • Follow up and provide recommendations to resolve issues
  • Manage and source new vendors
  • Manage component documentation
  • Oversee items and their approved articles

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
