Accounts Payable Manager

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage vendor payments, 1099 disbursements and tax-related matters
  • Manage accounting functions, GL, AP/AR and project accounting
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Participate in monthly closing of financial records
  • Help post month end information
  • Oversee financial statements
  • Respond to financial questions/concerns
  • Assist Manage hiring and training
  • Oversee purchase order controls
  • Report to Corporate Controller

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Great Plains preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
