Payroll Administrator

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution services industry is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team in the Riverside County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage payroll
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Maintain electronic payroll systems
  • Process payroll to GL
  • Responsible for payroll-related GL account journal entries and reconciliation
  • Prepare payroll tax returns, payments and tax and workers’ compensation audits
  • Help consolidate returns and GL account analyses
  • Prepare, review and verify monthly reports
  • Coordinate, update and maintain SAP database
  • Manage fixed assets
  • Prepare monthly capital expenditures financial information
  • Process monthly depreciation reporting

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, CORT and SAP R3 experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
