Accounting Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee reconciliations, payment requests, fee calculations, payments and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage department’s staff
  • Help identify and solve transactions
  • Manage monthly closing process
  • Prepare and review financial statements

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the real estate or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Yardi experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
