AP/AR Manager

Our client in real estate industry is looking for a AP/AR Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage, plan and assist A/R and A/P staff and process
  • Assist with training and evaluation, development and work product
  • Develop and maintain A/R and A/P policies and procedures
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and year end close process
  • Help resolve cash receipt and cash application issues
  • Assist with A/R issues
  • Help reconcile vendor statements with accounting system records
  • Prepare and submit 1099 filings
  • Monitor workflows to ensure consistent with approval matrix
  • Assist regional property management teams to reduce overall processing times
  • Audit and record expenses paid
  • Help process manual check requests
  • Prepare, review and record all job cost billings, adjustments, and miscellaneous invoicing
  • Perform research, reporting analysis and special projects

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the financial services, commercial real estate or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Yardi
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
