Interim Payroll Benefits Supervisor (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Benefits Supervisor to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Process multistate biweekly payroll
  • Review and process time sheets and vacation\sick requests
  • Processes garnishment calculations
  • Maintain payroll reporting and create new reports
  • Responsible for sourcing information and generating/running reports
  • Perform data entry for new hires, terminations and employee changes
  • Process termination and manual checks
  • Resolves complex payroll issues and questions
  • Process new hires, employee changes, FMLA, terminations and benefits administration
  • Assist with annual open enrollment process
  • Participate/Supervise in the Benefit enrollment process
  • Assist with Work Related Injury and OSHA reporting
  • Maintaining HR records
  • Oversee and maintain annual W-2’s, taxable fringe benefit input and ACA reporting
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
