Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Review invoices
  • Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices
  • Process check requests
  • Match invoices to checks
  • Responsible for auditing and processing credit card bills
  • Responsible for paying all sales tax
  • Perform sales and use tax filing
  • Manage 1099 maintenance
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Help reconcile vendor statements and research/correct discrepancies
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Maintain files and documentation

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
