Vice President of Internal Audit

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Vice President of Internal Audit to join their team in the San Gabriel Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Help execute annual audit plan
  • Manage and submit draft audit reports
  • Plan and perform risk-based audits
  • Oversee staff
  • Prepare Audit Committee packages
  • Manage business unit relationships
  • Guide Internal Audit Department activities
  • Maintain knowledge of Bank’s operations and laws/regulations

 

Requirements:

  • CIA, CPA, CFSA, CBA and/or CISA license
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
