Interim Accounts Payable/General Ledger Accountant (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable/General Ledger Accountant to join their team in the Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform accounts payable
  • Perform coding
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare and process 1099 and 1096 reporting
  • Maintain and process notes payable and real estate tax
  • Manage cash receipts and credit card processing
  • Manage journal entry input
  • Oversee GL journal reporting
  • Manage financial statement distribution
  • Manage financial report design

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the real estate or related industries preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills Timberline experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
