Interim Payroll Administrator (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Administrator to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for record keeping, employee-data updates and payroll processing
  • Responsible for balancing and verifying earnings and deduction totals
  • Help review system output reports
  • Verify tax setups
  • Help research and resolve transactional issues
  • Assist with monitoring system exception reports and messages
  • Help file reporting and deduction reports and disbursements
  • Assist in tax reporting/records reviewing
  • Assist with GL account inquiries
  • Manage account reconciliations
  • Help prepare accounting transactions and documents
  • Assist with periodic reviews/audits
  • Prepare audit materials

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, Ceridian, ADP or Kronos experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
