Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Senior Accountant to join their team in the Santa Barbara County
Job Description:
- Prepare journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly accruals
- Perform research and analysis on complex issues
- Prepare and perform analysis of severance and tax accruals
- Assist with financial reporting and SOX requirements
Requirements:
- CPA a plus
- Public/Big 4 accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and OGSYS software experience a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- A team player
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
