Vice President of Financial Reporting

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Vice President of Financial Reporting to join their team in the Los Angeles County.


Job Description:

  • Perform research on technical accounting pronouncements
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements, financial disclosures and reports
  • Prepare consolidation assessments
  • Assist Investor Relations
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
  • Prepare procedural, disclosure and general form checklists
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audits
  • Assist with preparing reports, filings and financial reports



  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA license
  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
