Interim Payroll Analyst (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll process
  • Perform analysis and reporting related to payroll costs
  • Respond to payroll inquiries in a timely manner
  • Ensure payroll information is aligned with the Time & Attendance System
  • Ensure all new hires are uploaded into the system
  • Manage all Year End payroll tasks
  • Update employee information when needed
  • Process garnishments in a timely manner
  • Set up any UI taxes or Local taxes
  • Prepare and process final check hours/benefits
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Payroll Certification or HR Certification a plus
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • ADP Workforce Now experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
