Interim Accounting Manager (Project)

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Interim Accounting Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage financial reporting & close processes
  • Manage and support AP/AR, account reconciliations, payroll, 1099 reporting, cash flow & banking
  • Produce quarterly financial statement
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes and policies
  • Review budgeting and forecasting
  • Assess estate planning needs and finalize an estate plan
  • Manage property purchases/sales, vehicle purchases/sales and estate planning
  • Assist with tax work paper preparation

 

Requirements:

  • CPA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and QuickBooks experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
