Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Process and distribute invoices
  • Process check runs
  • Process manual checks
  • Oversee AP email distribution
  • Help resolve issues, adjustments and disputes
  • Serve as a liaison
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Prepare monthly accruals
  • Prepare cashier check requests
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Help verify and enter credit card purchases

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Yardi experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
