Interim Human Resources Compliance Specialist (Project)

Our client in the transportation industry is looking for an Interim Human Resources Compliance Specialist to join their team in the Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the employee handbook
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Oversee and manage the performance evaluation program; maintain current salary guides
  • Perform benefits administration
  • Prepare and file EEO-1 report annually
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
  • Help maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports
  • Complete all employment and wage verification

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
