Tax Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare tax returns
  • Perform high level tax planning
  • Participate in stock portfolio management
  • Manage business investments
  • Maintain investment records and spreadsheets
  • Help schedule investment payments
  • Develop promissory notes due dates
  • Help schedule warrants/convertible note exercise dates
  • Perform filings and subscription agreements
  • Prepare financial statements and cash flow projections
  • Prepare check payments
  • Perform wire transfers
  • Responsible for collecting and depositing rents
  • Maintain lease files and pay expenses

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
