Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in the Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating payroll profiles
  • Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries and payroll requests
  • Manage and input direct deposits, garnishments and levies and benefit deductions
  • Maintain payroll jurisdiction tax rates
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, Kronos Timekeeper and Ceridian a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
