Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Manage invoice entry and payment processing
  • Review and code invoices
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies
  • Maintain files and documentation
  • Assist with monthly closing activities
  • Process check requests
  • Support cost recovery and contract administration
  • Assist with close process
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
