Interim Controller (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Controller to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage budget, payroll and cash management
  • Manage investor relations
  • Provide timely and relevant management reporting
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Maintain real estate portfolio
  • Coordinate the annual budget process
  • Help coordinate preparation of debt compliance
  • Assist with audits and tax compliance
  • Cash management/monthly funding of properties
  • Review monthly financials and return calculations
  • Ad-hoc projects as requested

 

Requirements:

  • CPA and/or MBA
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience=
