Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County
Job Description:
- Research and resolve payroll related inquiries/problems
- Responsible for the collection and balancing of time data
- Produce financial, tax and payroll reports
- Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
- Help coordinate all payroll tax activities
- Research and resolve payroll tax notices
- Implement best practices and cost reduction initiatives
- Assist with various projects as assigned
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency on all payroll functions
Requirements:
- CPP a plus
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- A team player
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
