Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform 3-way match on invoices
  • Perform 1099 tax reporting
  • Perform monthly closing of AP module
  • Perform monthly AP-trade and accrued expenses account reconciliation
  • Process sales-tax reporting
  • Process check payments and credit card payments
  • Oversee discount opportunities and verify federal id numbers
  • Help schedule/prepare checks
  • Help resolve discrepancies and documentation
  • Perform monthly statement reconciliation and transactions
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Maintain vendor files and W9 forms
  • Correspond/respond to vendors inquiries
  • Provide supporting documents
  • Help disburse petty cash

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
