Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the nonprofit industry is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Contra Costa County

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for all finance function
  • Assist to allocate resources aligned with meeting programmatic, strategic, and financial goals
  • Assist accounting, general ledger and operations functions, ensuring that systems
  • Oversee and manage all budgets, audits, internal financial plans and processes
  • Assist with stakeholders to collaborate on financial forecasting
  • Perform annual priorities and benchmarks, measuring projections against actual performance, and conduct regular reporting to both internal and appropriate external stakeholders
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and develop internal finance team

 

Requirements:

  • MBA preferred
  • Chief Business Officer certificate preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
