Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Process and enter invoices, expense reports, and other monthly reports
  • Help process accounts payable checks
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries
  • Perform monthly reconciliation between accounts payable and the general ledger
  • Prepare journal entries for accruals required for month-end closing
  • Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Perform research and resolve vendor statements
  • Assist internal and external parties with documentation requests
  • Assist with internal and external audits

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
