Financial Systems Manager

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Financial Systems Manager to join their team in the San Gabriel Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Review and suggest improvements to processes
  • Manage systems implementation, maintenance and upgrades
  • Help develop and maintain a strategic plan for accounting systems
  • Manage financial reporting, accounting and month-end close requirements
  • Manage procurement and accounts payable processes
  • Manage testing cycles, system integration testing and end user training

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, PeopleSoft and SQL experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
