Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Maintain AP and process payments
  • Process reconciliation of vendor accounts
  • Maintain check register
  • Perform check processing
  • Maintain accounting ledgers and post monthly account transactions
  • Responsible for reviewing and matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts
  • Perform data entry and processing for payment
  • Help check for proper approvals and account coding
  • Process supplier invoices with receivers
  • Help investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with monthly closing

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Navision preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
