Interim Bookkeeper (Project)

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Interim Bookkeeper to join their team in San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Perform month end closing
  • Maintain file management system
  • Help reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Perform payroll and payroll account reconciliations
  • Process and maintain commission statements
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with processing payroll
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Process AP/AR
  • Prepare bank deposits and post cash receipts

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and QuickBooks experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in preferred or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
