General Ledger Accountant

Our client in the retail industry is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join their team in Marin County

 

Job Description:

  • Review journal entries
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • Assist with discrepancies
  • Help analyze account fluctuations and document variance analysis
  • Manage month end close tasks and progress
  • Perform general accounting activities
  • Prepare and provide support for year-end audit
  • Prepare audit schedules and requested documentation

 

Requirements:

  • CPA a plus
  • Blackline and Oracle experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
