Accounting Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with the development of staff members
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Oversee processing of all GL entries
  • Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers: fixed assets, AP, and AR
  • Develop and maintain appropriate internal controls
  • Monitor cash and debt levels
  • Review the reconciliation of all bank accounts
  • Reconcile all stored balance and rebate accounts
  • Review all balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare various financial statements and reports
  • Help develop annual budgets, reforecasts, 3 and 5 year plans
  • Assist with audits

 

Requirements:

  • CPA preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of major ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
