InterimChief Financial Officer (Project)

Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for an Interim Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the finance department
  • Coordinate and prioritize financial planning and control
  • Prepare annual budget and perform variance analyses
  • Establish internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Oversee payroll, accounting, bank reconciliation, and budget preparation
  • Assist with audits
  • Monitor financial reports, revenue and expenditures, and billings
  • Create and maintain updated departmental budgets
  • Prepare periodic financial and statistical reports
  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
  • Other duties may be assigned, as required

 

Requirements:

  • MBA preferred
  • AAHIVP Certification a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
