Senior Fund Accountant

Our client in the investment company industry is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Help prepare financial statements
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with audits
  • Establish and maintain cash controls
  • Ensure investments are funded on schedule
  • Oversee AP and expense accruals

 

Requirements:

  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in an investment fund firm preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
