Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform accounts payable functions
  • Record journal entries for various wires, ACH and manual payments
  • Run A/P reports weekly for payable check run
  • Assist with corporate credit card reconciliation and payment processing
  • Ensure necessary information is maintained for vendors to confirm which are subject to 1099 reporting as well as generating 1099 forms
  • File, maintain and distribute accounting documents, records and reports
  • Accurate posting of entries to ensure month-end closing

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
