Payroll Administrator

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and process full cycle multi-state payroll
  • Responsible for running time report and verify hours
  • Perform adjustments for payroll related transactions
  • Develop time off accrual report and identify/verify variances
  • Help respond and resolve questions, discrepancies and issues
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Prepare off cycle and year end payrolls
  • Assist with system testing
  • Perform audits
  • Maintain files

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, ADP Vantage, Enterprise or Workforce preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
