Accounts Payable Manager

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in the San Gabriel Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Review and suggest improvements to processes
  • Manage invoices and receipts
  • Perform three-way matching
  • Maintain voucher documentation
  • Oversee coding and invoice approvals
  • Oversee proper sales and use tax recording
  • Process expense reports
  • Help reconcile card transactions
  • Help resolve issues
  • Perform weekly payment runs and review agings
  • Perform month-end close processes
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and audits
  • Perform 1099s filing

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
