Payroll Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage bi-weekly payroll
  • Manage wage garnishment orders
  • Maintain payroll system and records
  • Manage compensation report
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Perform W-2s, payroll balance sheet accounts, YTD earnings audits
  • Prepare management reports
  • Manage payroll reports and explain variances
  • Manage 401(k) deductions
  • Assist with training
  • Manage and Reconcile GL accounts

 

Requirements:

  • Payroll Professional Certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, ADP and Paycom experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
