Interim Controller (Project)

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Interim Controller to join their team in Los Angeles County

Job Description:

  • Maintain and balance ledgers
  • Responsible for matching purchase orders with invoices
  • Help coordinate bank deposits
  • Report financial results
  • Oversee office expenses and enter cash receipts
  • Responsible for paying vendor invoices
  • Help track bank account balances
  • Develop monthly financial statements
  • Prepare tax returns, payroll, operating and business taxes

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and QuickBooks experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
